- Kon Rodz Racing Joins Forces with Cannister Motorsports

Kon Rodz Racing, and Team owner Spiro Kontos, are proud to announce that they have hired the talents of Dale and Laurie Cannister, the 2008 IHRA Alcohol Funny Car World Champions. Their roles will be Car Tuner and Driver Advisor for the remainder of the 2009 NHRA season. They bring with them years of experience and knowledge, and the championship-level performance that Kon Rodz Racing desires. The team is young and aggressive and, with Dale and Laurie on board, can only look forward to advancing to the next level.

Spiro Kontos said his team is very excited and looking forward to the remainder of the season to hopefully place his team in a better position and to build on their performance for next season. The Kon Rodz Racing team will be testing in the next few weeks to give everyone a chance to gel as a team before competing at their next NHRA National Event to be announced at a later date.
